Walmart is Hiring for Planners and Product Development Managers
Planner and Sr. Planner:
The Planner maintains and executes financial plans for merchandise categories by building partnerships with cross-functional teams, preparing, revising, tracking and executing category performance and budgets. The Planner also conducts analysis to identify business drivers and levers, along with developing and presenting financial recommendations to merchants.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 3-5 years’ retail planning or merchandising experience
• Knowledge and practice of a P&L for a complex merchandise categories
• Experience in the development of financial strategies and key event plans for a complex merchandise categories
Product Development Manager and Sr. Product Development Manager (Positions Available in Ladieswear, Shoes, Intimates and Accessories):
The Product Development Manager owns the strategic direction, tactical execution and ultimate accountability for financial performance of a product subset within a larger brand group. The Product Development Manager will also ensure plans meet objectives while initiating, coordinating and evaluating research and analyses to identify product quality and performance standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of experience in specialty merchandising and/or product management
• Experience in developing a private label/private brand portfolio
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated experience in product expertise and brand positioning
• Experienced in financial measurements and their impact
