The SRA owns the recommendations for the item aggregate POS level forecast, the item/store level POS forecast, and the seasonal profiles in the Walmart Inforem system. The SRA conducts analysis to make sure that all settings in Walmart's PL system are configured and set for best optimizing Colgate's business. They provide regular communication and analysis of business results to customer service logistics and national account managers. Formulate specific action plans to address store in-stock problems and maximize opportunities that support both supply chain and sales objectives.
They serve as the focal point regarding all turn and promoted volume for specified categories in aligning the Demand Planning with the CBP plan and communicating changes throughout the Supply Chain organization. The SRA establishes multi-level relationships with individuals in varied supply chain disciplines within the customer as well as a direct relationship with the National Account Manager in order to ensure maximum effectiveness of forecasting and inventory management initiatives. The SRA has direct interface with the external customer and conducts regular meetings to ensure alignment and achievement of key metrics.
* Manage by item, by store product forecast process and collaborate with Walmart replenishment team to develop replenishment strategies, including "store of the community" initiatives. * Manage the demand plan and align to the CBP plan to drive forecast error improvements. * Proactively manage store/item level forecast changes by ensuring all register keys are set properly in Walmart's system. Be able to identify root cause for what is happening to store level DD's and how to correct it * Analyze store level forecast accuracy, ensuring seasonal forecasts/builds are correctly input in the Walmart Inforem system. Specific activities to include, but not limited to C-Stock Management, Seasonal/Event build programs, New Item Configurations and Replenishment Profiles * Manage all new items, item changes and pack transitions to ensure proper forecast accuracy and Walmart system order flow are aligned * Analyze performance information to identify trends and proactively correct systems disconnects, before out-of-stock instances occur * Manage customer goals of in-stock/turns/dc to store service levels * Work closely with the NAMs in the SSO process to ensure total inventory is maintained within terms * Send out promotional notification once orders have been transmitted from the customer. * Follow up with Production, communicating any issues/risk regarding product availability for the event * Update the Forecast numbers in APO and update Category Big Pop with both projected and actual quantities by CP location for all promotional events * Lead 30/60/90 day meetings with the Walmart Replenishment Managers to ensure all key metrics are achieved along with planning for future programs and events * Retail Link proficiency to pull detailed reports to analyze the business and drive store in-stock improvements. Basic Qualifications:
* B.A./B.S. Degree * 2 years minimum experience in a Customer Service, Finance, Logistics or Sales/Category Development function * 2 years in a similar Consumer product Supply Chain/Sales/Category Management background
