Job Description This role in the $1.8B Medical Products -Medication Delivery U.S. Region provides financial and business support for the Medication Delivery Hardware SBU. The individual selected for this role will analyze Infusion Systems Hardware profitability and communicate key business drivers (customer and product) to senior management. He or she will also be responsible for identifying potential risks and opportunities impacting the P&L and balance sheet. This position requires significant collaboration with the Marketing, Sales, Business Operations and Supply Chain organizations. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
•Review of monthly performance including key driver analytics and product level analysis (customer, price / volume / mix, etc.); •Development of quarterly forecasts, annual Operating Plan and Long Range Plan (LRP); •Analysis of future business risks and opportunities; •Management of the monthly close process including analysis of results, preparation of journal entries and completion of account reconciliations; •Maintenance of balance sheet and cash flow analytics to determine implications of business decisions (Lease Accounting, Inventory tracking and valuation, etc.) •Advancement of Business intelligence Tools through process automation; •Development and tracking of key marketing programs to drive business results and growth ; •Driving of process improvement and efficiencies; •Communication of results to U.S. Region senior management; •and Various Ad-hoc analyses
Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics with 3-6 years of relevant work experience. CPA and/or MBA with advanced JDE and Cognos experience preferred. Key success criteria include analytical and process management skills, ability to influence others, drive to innovate, and comfort managing through complexity. Strong time management, decision-making, technical accounting, and communication/presentation skills are critical. Experience implementing process improvement a plus.
