Essential Functions
• Develop and document requirements, create and document designs, develop project plans, collaborate and mentor • Exhibit critical thinking, present to clients and colleagues and serve as a role model for the other developers • Leads discussions about new products, data elements involved, and business rules regarding data elements • Documents all data related business rules • Designs logical, physical, and mapping models, stored procedures, functions or views • Designs unit tests, stored procedure and function objects • Delivers detailed design for all aspects of the project • Deliver highly performing data access objects on very large databases • Ensure system stability / performance and capacity
Secondary Responsibilities
• Participate in architecture, development, testing, and support of middleware and web-enabled applications using Microsoft .NET technologies • Provide architectural guidance for development teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle • Experience with the following applications: o Microsoft Visual , WPF o Microsoft SQL Server, LINQ o Microsoft Visual SourceSafe o Microsoft Team Foundation Server o Microsoft IIS Server o Communication Tools: WCF, TCP Sockets, SMTP
Desirable experience: o Writing, debugging, maintaining SQL Server DTS packages o Creating and maintaining software documentation o Object Oriented design and development o Service Oriented Architecture o 5+ Yrs .NET and ( AND C#), CSS o 5+ Yrs T-SQL and RDBMS o 2+ years of experience architecting solutions using WCF, Silverlight and LINQ o Strong knowledge about SQL Server and IIS architecture o In depth knowledge and experience about Windows Services, Web Services, WCF, XAML, Silverlight, WPF, LINQ and AJAX o Strong knowledge of fundamental design practices, including SOA design principles and patterns
