Senior Financial Analyst

This position is located in Chicago, IL.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of the Inter-Plan Programs (IPP) and other fee-for-service business plans and corresponding financials for governance approval. Analyzing various operational and business-driven opportunities, and providing business/financial consulting on IPP business initiatives.
Required Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related business discipline
Minimum of five years demonstrated work experience in financial reporting / financial analytics
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel and Word
Preferred Basic Qualifications:
MBA degree
Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze complex business requirements, model and create solutions to meet current requirements as well as future projections
Experience working within a complex corporate structure, customer base and operations
Ability to exercise professional judgment, initiative and resourcefulness in advising senior management of alternative business solutions and strategies
Experience using operating and financial systems
Demonstrated financial and quantitative analysis skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain critical relationships with all levels of Association and Plan staff
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking/presentations
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with multiple stakeholders
