Job Description
Profitably grow and maximize the return on the BioSurgery business in the respective territory. Promote Tisseel VH and other BioSurgery products and accessories to surgeons, nurses and associated clinicians and educate them in the use of sealants and hemostatics in their practice to benefit patient outcomes.
•Maintain existing business and relationships, develop new relationships and surgical opportunities with surgeons. Generate awareness and promote the many applications for the BioSurgery portfolio of products and associated accessories. Assist customers in identifying how the products can benefit their practice (product positioning), and encourage use. Problem-solve issues (backorders, product complaints, product allocation, etc.) and manage to appropriate resolution. (45%)
•Coordinate educational in-servicing and provide technical support to Operating Room and affiliated health care professionals. (10%)
•Participate in surgical cases as an instructional observer, providing technical support to surgeons using BioSurgery products. (25%)
•Maintain and develop relationships with OR purchasing, materials management, blood bank, and other personnel responsible for the logistics associated with the BioSurgery portfolio in the account. (10%)
•Attend conferences and participate in trade shows to reach specific surgical target groups. (5%)
•Coordinate training labs, ""Baxter BioSurgery Days"", Peer to Peer and other events in efforts to educate surgeons and residents in the use of the Baxter BioSurgery Portfolio of surgical products. Assist other Technical Consultants in the implementation of these events when required. (5%)
Job Requirements
•University degree (nursing or business)
•OR Nursing experience an asset
