Sales Representative
Commission sales position representing large company covering Northern CA. Perfect position for someone wanting to get off the bench and start in sales,or someone finishing their career. We will train on the products. Calling on a variety of laboratories, academic, government, industrial.
Income is uncapped, you only sell, all installations and customer training are performed FOR you.
Able to effectively work in a team selling environment with routine engagement by product management and inside sales
Maintain and continually update the customer database, including forecasting, customer history, and key contact information
Be a quota driven individual, accountable for consistently achieving sales targets
Present technical and competitive information in a clear, concise manner
Contact customers via telephone, correspondence or in person by traveling as frequently as necessary to meet and surpass profitable sales goals for the company.
Re-evaluate work on an ongoing basis to increase market share.
Create customized proposals to meet specific customer requirements in an efficient manner.
Stay abreast of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies through available resources.
Utilize company leads to expand current customer base and follow up all leads promptly.
Requirements:
Scientific background desired Chemical or Biological
Self motivated with a desire to achieve
A proven sales record in a field sales position for analytical laboratory equipment or supplies
Technical expertise for chemistry applications
Excellent oral, written and computer skills (Microsoft Office - experience with a plus)
