Nursing Faculty Positions
Jefferson College is seeking highly qualified and motivated full-time faculty members who are student-centered and committed to innovative teaching, academic advising, institutional service, and community service. The individuals selected to join Jefferson College’s excellent full-time faculty will demonstrate commitment to assessing and documenting student learning outcomes and using technology in the learning process. Successful candidates must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
The Bi-level Nursing Program is seeking two full-time faculty members to teach across both levels of the program. There is an immediate need for an instructor in the Level I/PN Evening/Weekend Program. This position will teach during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. The other faculty position will teach in the Level I/PN Day Program during the regular academic year (fall and spring semesters) and will begin in August of 2013.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Undisciplined license to practice professional nursing in Missouri and BSN required. MSN preferred. Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience required; previous teaching experience and geriatric, psychiatric and/or medical/surgical nursing expertise a plus.
Positions are tenure track; rank and salary commensurate with education, experience, and professional qualifications.
