Position Summary:Set strategy, develop and direct sales efforts for the Walmart glass, ceramic, cookware, cutlery, and kitchenware businesses. Manage one sales analyst. Key Accountabilities/Primary Responsibilities:Manage execution of sales strategy by working closely with: Sales, Marketing, Customer Marketing, & Finance to establish profitable programs for the customer and World Kitchen.
Manage, coach, and develop direct report.
Deliver net sales and gross to net plan, insuring profitable growth for World Kitchen. Partner with marketing and customer marketing to define the sales strategy for the customer and execute the plan.
Actively participate and initiate discussions/projects with World Kitchen senior management and peers that create more effective strategies, resulting in increased profitable sales.
Determine Walmart strategies, product priorities, joint business planning with customer. Guide overall problem solving: eg supply issues, finance concerns, trade, marketing. Key Skills and Competencies Required:Ability to create and implement sales budget.
Ability to determine market trends and apply to business plans for success. Education and Experience Required:BA or BS required.
Strong financial acumen, fact-based selling, critical thinking, principle-based, with extensive sales and management experience.
