Cali Bamboo () is searching for sales professionals who are ready to take the skill sets learned in other industries and incorporate new techniques into the rapidly growing green building industry.  Cali Bamboo, the leader in bamboo building products, is planning further growth in 2013, and was ranked one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. for four straight years. Cali Bamboo's goal is to promote the use of bamboo as a new material for common everyday products traditionally made from wood, metal, and plastic. We believe that by providing alternative products made from renewable resources, we can make a difference in the future of our planet. We need the right sales team to help accomplish our next goals. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue growth through effective use of best practices sales principles
  • Advise project based customers on choosing correct product for specific application as well as advising on design and construction
  • Handle inbound phone and internet inquiries; effectively present products and organization
  • Proactively make outbound prospecting calls to potential customers
  • Develop, maintain and expand strong customer relationships
  • Show resolve in searching for alternative solutions to objections

 

Fully develop product knowledge and function as a product specialist

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years inside sales experience
  • High-energy, self-starter with excellent communication skills

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Software: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), database familiarity, web savvy, general computer competency
  • 2+ years inside sales experience
