About the Position
Under general supervision of a branch manager or other supervisor, proficient in 2010 Hud-1 and closing document preparation, funding management, and presenting closing transactions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Opens and maintains orders placed by customers.
2. Manages an assigned pipeline of REO purchase and traditional purchase transactions.
3. Advises customers, both in writing and orally, as to status, defects, requirements, etc. for issuing title insurance policy.
4. Prepares, reviews and approves HUD-1 closing statements.
5. Corresponds with clients and local vendor offices to ensure a timely closing, meeting monthly closing quotas, and monitoring closing reports to ensure service agreements are being met.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1. Working knowledge of Hud-1 closing statements and escrow functions.
2. Analytical ability sufficient to perform tasks that are varied and short term requiring concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.
3. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in person and by telephone; to interact effectively with others; and to meet constant deadlines.
4. Ability to operate office equipment, including telephone, facsimile, copier; ability to operate a personal computer and to use common office suite software, such as word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.

Position Qualifications- The ideal candidate will have the following:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSING High school graduate with two years minimum previous escrow experience. Understanding of the real estate transaction closing process. RamQuest, Title Curative and REO experience a plus.
