General Summary
The Vice President Customer Team is responsible for working with Team Leader and senior-level customer leaders to build the business and develop the organization.

Responsibilities include providing direction to direct reports on corporate strategies and initiatives and ensuring the Team Leader drives strategic priorities within their teams and customer accounts.

Principal Accountabilities
1. Leads the implementation of the strategic joint planning process at the senior-most levels with customers.
2. Ensures that the strategic customer plans are aligned to deliver the team's overall volume, profit and share objectives for each category.
3. Maintains focus with regard to corporate strategies and financial responsibility.
4. Develops productive working relationships with the most senior leaders at the account to include cross-functional relationships.
5. Ensures that controls are maintained to measure and monitor sales spending, sales expenses, etc.
6. Leads a cross-functional customer team, including matrix leadership of the team's Sales Finance, Category Management and Customer Marketing team members.
7. Oversees the execution of brand strategies and strategic category management initiatives.
8. Implements and enforces Campbell policy; ensure customer compliance with defined contractual commitments.
9. Provides market/customer expertise and direction on all customer and team issues.
10. Serves as point person on strategic supply chain initiatives, collaborative marketing programs, etc.
11. Manages the talent management process with an emphasis on succession planning and development of bench talent.
12. Leads, coaches and develops a cross-functional team of members of the team.

Job Complexity
. Able to assess any customer's competitive position, behaviors and strategies and understand how they align with Campbell's strategic goals to help determine a customer investment strategy (use of trade, customer marketing, and integrated marketing equities) that will best support a customer's revenue, profit and share growth.
. Develops productive working relationships with senior levels within the customer's organizational structure and cross-functionally, with Campbell, at senior levels.
. Responsible for leading, coaching, and developing all members of the cross-functional.
. Responsible for managing multiple key customers or touch points.
. Responsible for the growth and financial performance of all categories within the Campbell portfolio.
. Primary contact on all customer related issues and requires high level of interaction with World Headquarters.
. Requires expert understanding and experience with total P&L management.
. Responsible for managing customers across regionally and geographically diverse markets.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
. Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree
. Minimum 12 years of CPG industry experience, including Field Sales and World Headquarter experience
. Walmart experience preferred
. Experience managing a minimum of $500MM/year in CPG business required.

Working Conditions
This position works from a customer team office or a home-based office environment. Approximately 30% travel required.
